Ordering Information

Payment

Orders must be prepaid by check or money order made out to "Electro Automotive" in U.S. dollars. We can accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, but ONLY through PayPal. For books and videos, there are shopping cart PayPal links next to each item. For parts, PayPal is not able to correctly calculate shipping, due to widely varing weights among the items we sell. For these items, please email us with a list of the items you wish to order, and your shipping address. We will email you back to confirm the pricing, including shipping. You can then go to your PayPal account and make the transfer.

If you are not familiar with PayPal, this is a service that allows you to make electronic payments from your credit cards. You do not need to supply the credit card information to the merchant, only to PayPal. There is no charge for you to use this service, and it is easy to set up. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are listed on the Parts Price List or on the Info Price List. There is a minimum shipping charge of $3.00 per order. For kits, listed shipping charges apply to addresses in the Pacific Time Zone. For each U.S. or Canadian time zone removed from Pacific, add 25% to the shipping charge. For books and videos, add $5.00 per item for shipments outside of the U.S. and Canada. For parts shipments outside the U.S. and Canada, contact us.

Sales Tax

California residents only, please add 8.25% sales tax.

Delivery

Small orders are sent by U.S. Mail. Most components and Universal Kits are sent by UPS Ground. Custom Kits are sent by motor freight. Please include your street address, not a post office box, for all component and kit orders. Although we try to keep most items in stock, there are sometimes unexpected delays from manufacturers. Some custom pieces, such as adaptors, are fabricated only on order. In general, delivery time is within 4-6 weeks.

Commercial Orders

Wholesale quantity pricing is available on books and videos to book or video sellers, clubs, and schools. Contact us for specifics. We can ship on a purchase order, with terms of net 30.

Warranties & Returns

Returns are accepted for warranty reasons ONLY. Parts are warrantied for one year against defects in manufacture, but not against damage from improper installation or abuse in use. Warranties are limited by terms of the manufacturer's warranty regarding any items excluded from coverage. Warranty covers defective parts only, not any damage to other parts. Defective parts must be returned, and replacement parts or a credit will be issued. No cash refunds. On special orders and custom parts, warranties and replacements are governed by the policies of the part manufacturer, and limited to the refund available from the manufacturer, if any. Claims for damage in shipping should be filed promptly with the shipping carrier.

Or, for credit card orders of parts, email us with a list of the parts you want, and your shipping address. We will email you back with a confirmed price total, including shipping, which you can then transfer to us online via PayPal.

Returns accepted for warranty issues ONLY, for replacement. No cash refunds.
